1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the AeroFTP desktop application or the aeroftp.app website (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

AeroFTP is a 100% free and open-source desktop file transfer client (GPL-3.0) for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The Services allow you to connect to remote servers and cloud services to transfer files using various protocols (FTP, SFTP, SCP, WebDAV, S3, etc.).

3. License and Usage

AeroFTP is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the terms of that license.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be error-free, bug-free, or uninterrupted
  • File transfers will always complete successfully
  • Data will not be lost or corrupted during transfer
  • The Services will be compatible with all servers, cloud services, or network configurations
  • Encryption features (AeroVault) are suitable for any specific purpose

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall axpdev-lab be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or files
  • File corruption during transfer or encryption
  • Unauthorized access to your servers resulting from software vulnerabilities
  • Business interruption or loss of profits
  • Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services

You use the Services at your own risk. You are solely responsible for backing up your data.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your server access credentials
  • Performing regular backups of your data
  • Complying with applicable laws when using the Services
  • Not using the Services for illegal or unauthorized activities
  • Safeguarding your AeroVault passphrases (we cannot recover them)

7. Third-Party Services

AeroFTP allows connections to third-party services (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Amazon S3, etc.). Use of such services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any issues arising from interaction with third-party services.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian court.
