About

Community-first, privacy-focused, open source.

AeroFTP started as a simple idea: a file transfer client that feels modern, works fast, and respects your freedom. Built from the ground up with Rust and React, it grew into a complete file management platform, 23 protocols, 6 integrated modules, 47 languages, one open-source application.

Our Philosophy

Open Source First

AeroFTP is released under the GPL-3.0 license. The source code is freely available, contributions are welcome, and the community drives development. No vendor lock-in, no hidden features behind paywalls.

Security by Default

Security is never a premium tier or an afterthought. Every connection and credential is protected out of the box, at no extra cost and with no setup required. We earn trust through transparent, verifiable design rather than promises, so your data always stays yours.

Privacy by Design

We do not collect any user data. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting. AeroFTP works entirely offline except for the connections you explicitly configure. Your files, your servers, your business.

Free and Open Internet

We believe software should be accessible to everyone, everywhere. AeroFTP is free for individuals, teams, and organizations alike. We stand for a free and open internet where users control their own data and tools.

Weekly installation data from the Snap Store

This map is real. The data comes exclusively from Snapcraft (the Linux Snap Store), so it does not include Windows and macOS installs nor other distribution channels: it is indicative of the spread, not an exhaustive count.
