AeroShare

Send files person to person, end-to-end encrypted, with no server in the middle - Beta preview.

Peer to peer, no middleman

AeroShare sends a file or a whole folder straight to another person, end-to-end encrypted, with no server in the middle - the bytes never pass through a hosted account. Think of it as AirDrop for everyone, across the internet. AeroShare is a Beta preview: it works today, with more polish on the way.

End to end, straight to your peer

AeroShare opens a direct, 256-bit end-to-end encrypted channel between two people, built on iroh. Peers find each other through the Mainline DHT, with a federated relay as fallback when a direct connection is not possible - so a transfer just works, whether you are on the same office network or across the world.

Right where you work

Sharing is always one gesture away: a Discover tile, an "add friend" button in the title bar, a draggable hub and a receiver indicator in the status bar. Saved contacts live in an address book, and every incoming file lands in a per-sender Inbox you can review before accepting.

Privacy on your terms

You stay in control of who can reach you. An anti-flood gate lets you mute a sender, switch to a friends-only allowlist or rate-limit requests. Prefer to stay off the public DHT entirely? Turn on the no-discovery mode with rotating IDs, or use the fully offline LAN mode (mDNS) for peers on the same network.

Drag, drop, done

Send a single file or an entire folder tree the same way: drop it onto a contact and AeroShare streams it directly, showing live progress on both ends. Because there is no cloud account in the path, there are no storage limits and nothing to clean up afterwards - the transfer is just between the two of you.
